The team of eight buyers was responsible for sourcing raw materials of 15,000 SKUs to produce their transportation products. The procurement process was fairly chaotic before working with SourceDay, and to assure they had sufficient parts on-hand, the company was planning a multi-million dollar expansion of their warehouse to stock up.
To resolve operational issues, BraunAbility adopted the SourceDay platform to automate processes that they had previously been conducting with manual data entry via spreadsheets and sticky notes. In doing so, they not only achieved 100% data accuracy in their ERP regarding PO changes, but they also increased on-time-delivery (OTD) of direct materials by 35%.
