SourceDay founders come from the manufacturing industry. Through their experience, they uncovered capability gaps with most ERP systems that created unnecessary costs, increased risk, and wasted time and productivity. They understand the unique pain points associated with managing direct spend and how competitive the manufacturing and distribution industries are. Poorly performing suppliers and material issues will inevitably delay production, increase costs and ultimately reduce revenue.
Tom Kieley and Clint McRee were determined to create a solution that would extend ERPs to do more for procurement, the supply chain and their suppliers. What they developed was a cloud-based platform that seamlessly integrates with ERP systems and eliminates the constant delays and sources of frustration from PO management and supplier management.

Tom Kieley – CEO and Co-Founder
As a veteran business owner, Tom knows how to recruit top talent and build a lean team to manage growth. He is also good at conveying company vision and goals to employees, partners and anyone else interested in PO management. But it’s the execution of that vision that makes him such an asset for SourceDay.
Tom wears many hats, but his priority is maintaining key relationships and providing oversight across SourceDay. His decade plus of experience in product management and operations, hardware and software sales, and supply chain management fosters his creative ideas around how best to achieve the goals that lead to company success.
Tom holds a B.S. degree in Industrial Distribution Engineering from Texas A&M. When he’s not working to establish SourceDay as an innovation leader, Tom is likely spending time with his family, building custom furniture and cabinetry, networking, or volunteering in the community with his church.
Clint McRee – COO and Co-Founder
As a consummate entrepreneur, Clint excels at building companies and teams that break down status quo and use progressive methods to solve real business challenges. He used his background in technology and manufacturing to co-found SourceDay to help manufacturers bring modern innovation to a traditionally antiquated industry.
Clint now spends much of his day helping prospects and clients achieve their business objectives – whether through increasing revenues, lowering cost, and/or modernizing their businesses. Clint constantly pushes SourceDay’s product teams to be innovators and think big.
Clint graduated from the University of Houston with a B.A. in Finance. In his free time, he travels to sporting events with his sons, waterskis as often as possible and always enjoys a good challenge.
FRED SMITH – SVP of Sales
With more than 25 years of experience in all levels and areas of sales, Fred understands what it takes to align a sales team with corporate strategy to generate revenue. He enjoys managing and mentoring a team of sales professionals, leading by example to view both internal business units and external prospects and clients as valued customers.
Fred leads SourceDay’s sales efforts, collaborating with the executive team to design a strategy his team can execute at the highest level. As head of sales, Fred manages less as a “boss” and more as a trusted partner and enabler. He is quick to identify opportunities and then design a plan to leverage the opening. Fred is always finding ways to create more efficient, repeatable processes that improve the business.
Fred holds a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Kansas. When he’s not building relationships with his internal and external customers, Fred may be found at a movie with his wife, mountain biking, watching college sports, or at an assisted living facility where he and his wife help lead a Sunday worship service.
Erica Lanyon – VP of Marketing
With a “get it done” attitude, Erica is great at juggling multiple priorities and evaluating situations from every possible angle. She excels at developing and executing strategic marketing plans that result in substantial revenue growth and building brand reputation.
Erica has been both a marketing consultant and a corporate marketing leader for most of her career, enabling her to identify the right prospects in the right markets and engage with them along the customer-buying journey. She has a knack for building marketing departments from the ground up and transforming them into accountable, revenue-generating centers of excellence.
Erica holds a B.F.A. from the University of Texas at Austin and a Masters of Arts from St. Edwards University. When she isn’t managing all things marketing for SourceDay, Erica enjoys spending time with her husband and young son. She’s also dances Flamenco.
