Putting A New Lens On The PO Lifecycle

Why I Joined SourceDay

Every now and then you come across a company that thinks a little differently, has a little more passion, and has an uncanny understanding of customer supply chain management needs. That’s what I found in SourceDay and why I decided to join the company as VP of Marketing & Growth.

A different approach

I have a decade of experience in high tech manufacturing and supply chain technology. So when I saw these success indicators, the choice to join the SourceDay team was easy. It was not merely a career transition, but rather a strategic maneuver to align my enthusiasm for innovation with a company poised to drive out billions of dollars in costs, time, and risk across the supply chain. SourceDay’s reputation as a leader in PO lifecycle management is well-known, but what caught my attention was their innovative approach to solving the costly but ‘hard to fix’ supply chain challenges that happen before shipment.

“Right” in all the right areas

One of the biggest selling points for me with SourceDay was their focus on keeping things simple but powerful. All too often supply chain solutions are overly complex and expensive or fall short because they are a module in a bigger system that tries to do too much. SourceDay, on the other hand, has developed a streamlined way to augment existing systems to remove the traditional problem areas within the PO lifecycle… like slow or missing notifications of PO changes and closed loop buyer/supplier collaboration.

Having witnessed firsthand how the right supply chain technology helps manufacturing and distribution companies increase margins, mitigate operational downtime and risk, and compete more effectively, I was eager to join a company that shared my vision for the future of supply chain management. What I found in SourceDay’s solution was technology that can be implemented faster, has a lower total cost of ownership, and significantly increases on time (OTD) and on time in full (OTIF) delivery of POs.

Living the customer-centric model

I’ve also been very impressed with SourceDay’s customer-centric approach as it aligns perfectly with my passion for understanding and meeting the evolving needs of supply chain-dependent companies. Working closely with clients to implement supply chain solutions in the past, I learned quickly about the importance of building strong partnerships and continuing to innovate to deliver meaningful results.

A healthy culture produces a great solution

In addition to the exciting challenges and opportunities, SourceDay’s company culture was another compelling factor in my decision to join the team. From day one, I was welcomed into a dynamic and collaborative environment where innovation thrives, and every voice is valued. It’s truly inspiring to be surrounded by like-minded individuals who share a passion for driving positive change in the industry.

I am excited about the future for SoureDay and the impact we can have in driving cost and risk out of the supply chain. If you share that same passion, let’s connect on email or LinkedIn! I’d love to hear your story and figure out ways to work together.
